SkillFlix® for Pharmacies
SkillFlix® for Pharmacies includes more than 50 Microskills® videos to build the harm reduction skills of US pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide compliant and respectful non-prescription syringe sales to their customers. The resource includes state law summaries for staff, a live resource locator map, and online harm reduction videos for non-prescription syringe customers. Safe Injection Kits are provided free of charge with first time purchases of SkillFlix® for Pharmacies.
The SkillFlix® patented training technology developed by dfusion is a proprietary video training platform that teaches and reinforces effective skills through the use of short Microskills® modeling videos. Microskills® combine to create larger skills, and are searchable by topics, skills, or keywords. Several studies have shown SkillFlix® to be effective in building complex skills related to sensitive communications.
Safe Injection Kits are curated collections of single use injection items for pharmacies to make available to non-prescription syringe customers. The kits contain a sharps container, a tourniquet and wound care items, as well as items for 10 safe injections, such as cookers, filters and water. Kits also contain informational pamphlets, access to an online resource locator map, 12 safe injection videos, and other links to credible safe injection resources. In addition to being included with first-time SkillFlix® for Pharmacies purchases, the kits can also be purchased in bulk by harm reduction oriented organizations.

The safe-injection.com site contains several important resources for people who inject drugs and the people and professionals who support them. It provides access to a national Resource Locator Map, a series of 12 videos on safe injection, and links to helpful sources on harm reduction topics. The site is optimized for viewing on a smart phone or a computer and is designed to function on a low bandwidth for users with limited data.
